Stop Hunger Now |

Carter Lofton has offered the following
description of the Stop Hunger Now project. For
food to be packaged, money has to be raise to obtain the
raw materials. Charlotte East committed $12,000
this year through two fund raising projects.
Through the support of the District Governor, 55,858
meals were packaged at the recent District Conference in
Myrtle Beach. Throughout the coming year, we will
be setting up additional dates for packing food.
We will be working with other groups in order to have
around 50 people packing for two hours. Carter
stated that a facility and a director have been arranged
in order to make for a more efficient operation.
It is the goal for District 7680 to package one million
meals in a year. |
